Bogdanov met with the Director of the European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia

The Foreign Ministry reported that "an in-depth exchange of views was also held on topical Middle East problems with an emphasis on the tasks of an early settlement of the military-political and humanitarian crisis in Yemen."

"On the same day, detailed consultations with Sultan Ben Khuzeim were held by the Special Representative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Syrian settlement, Director of the Department for the Middle East and North Africa of the Russian Foreign Ministry, A.A. Kinschak," the statement says.

In August, it was reported that Bogdanov had a meeting with the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Moscow, Abdel Rahman Al-Ahmed.
