Al-Sisi’s surprise for those who are about to get married .. No “suffocation over dowry and luggage”
Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi revealed a pleasant surprise to those who are about to get married by saying that the Egyptian government is studying the establishment of rent-ready housing units with furniture, saying: “We want to leave people quarreling over dowry and furniture, and the apartment will be rented with furniture.”
During his speech, which he delivered on Sunday, at the “Door of Goodness” celebration, Sisi explained that there will be more than one model of furniture suitable for different tastes, addressing the head of the Orman Association: “We want to make 100,000 apartments like this. You are with us or what.”
Al-Sisi added, “We want to make ready housing and people pay rent, so that families will not suffocate over the dowry.
The Egyptian president inspected the largest humanitarian convoy to care for one million families in Egypt, as part of the "Gate of Goodness" celebration.
