Stefan Liv was a legendary goalkeeper in HV71 and the memorial day is celebrated in several ways in Jönköping on Tuesday.

He started his career in HC Dalen and came as a 15-year-old to HV71 before the 95/96 season.

Already in the A-team debut on January 18, 2000 against Luleå HF, he saved 24 of 25 shots and the team won 4-1.

During his career, he played 569 matches for HV71 and won three Swedish Championship golds with the club.

He kept a clean sheet in 33 league games and in 12 playoff games.
