Events A former sniper kills four people, including a baby, in a shooting in Florida
The Australian Police have rescued
a three-year-old boy who had disappeared
last Friday in a forest in
New South Wales
(Australia).
The boy, named Anthony "AJ" Elfalak, has autism and was with his family on a rural property.
It was discovered during an operation that was searching from a helicopter an area of bushes on a farm in the town of Putty.
Anthony
was drinking water from a small stream
about 500 meters from the family farm house when he was found by authorities, according to video released by NSW Police.
Then a foot patrol headed to the scene.
"The boy has met with his family and is being evaluated by paramedics," the police explained in a statement.
The boy's father told local media that his son had small scratches from falls and ant bites,
calling it a "miracle" that he was found alive
four days after he disappeared.
The authorities deployed on Friday, after the disappearance was reported at noon, a search and rescue device with more than 100 people to tour the land, and that on Sunday passed near the area where the minor was found today.
After hearing the news, Australian Prime Minister
Scott Morrison
thanked the authorities for their work.
"Thank goodness. What a relief. I can't imagine how traumatic this experience has been for AJ and his parents. Glad to hear he's safe. Thanks to the NSW Police and the paramedic team," said Morrison On twitter.
