The document provides a mechanism for restoring unreasonably deleted publications and accounts.

The presidential decree must be approved by parliament within 120 days, otherwise it will be invalidated.

In May, Italian MEPs Francesca Donato, Marco Campomenosi and Stefania Zambelli raised the issue of taking action against Facebook, which they say is “increasingly” restricting citizens' right to freedom of expression.
