Golikova: in Russia, almost a third of deaths occur in the working age

“The main reason for the low life expectancy in Russia is the high mortality rate of citizens of working age.

So this is what it is today: of the total number of deaths in Russia, almost a third are citizens of working age, ”TASS quoted her as saying.

She noted that "80% of this number is the male part of the population."

Golikova clarified that 55% of the total mortality rate is cardiovascular diseases.

Earlier, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin recalled that from March 1, 2022, new labor protection standards will be in force in Russia.
