06 September 2021 Six hours of general discussion on the Green pass decree which landed in the Chamber at 10 am There are a total of 12 members to speak with a maximum time of 30 minutes each. Fratelli d'Italia is on the list with 5 interventions.

According to what is learned in Montecitorio, we are thinking about the possibility that tomorrow the government will place its trust in the text.

The text, among other things, extends the validity of the green certification from 9 to 12 months.

On the Green pass in Rome I meet Confindustria - trade unions.

The pass will be mandatory from October for public employees and workers of bars, restaurants and gyms

From the extension of the Green Pass to compulsory vaccination, from smart working to school. A crucial week on anti-Covid regulations kicks off today, in view of a new imminent decree that will be passed for the full recovery of production activities.

GREEN PASS - In the middle of the week, probably Thursday, a control room will be held to carry on the obligation of the green certificate which began on August 6 with restaurants, bars and cinemas.

The discussion on enlargement to other sectors, now almost certain, will be one of the main topics on the agenda. At the top of the list of sectors that could be affected by the obligation are public employees or in any case those who have contact with the public. We will also talk about public transport drivers, but also about school canteens or workers in private companies. Already today there is a meeting between Confindustria and the trade unions, with the latter who even today have reiterated that they are in favor of mandatory vaccination.

VACCINES - With some regions that have now opened their administrations without reservations, the campaign is moving forward towards 80% of the vaccinated audience. A goal that, in all likelihood, should be achieved by the end of the month. The Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, warns: "Either the vaccination campaign is further strengthened, or one is forced to imagine that at some point it will be necessary to use measures from the past". Obviously, the discussion on obligatory nature takes center stage. Speranza himself reiterates that "if the defense of the right to health and the need to avoid new deprivations of freedom should lead us to this solution, we will certainly not be afraid and we will not stop". The obligation is an "extreme ratio" for the leader of the M5S, Giuseppe Conte.

SMART WORKING - Another hot topic is also that of smart working. Minister Renato Brunetta announces that "it will not be abolished" but "it is desirable that it remains for a share of up to 15%". An IT platform and what the minister himself calls the contractual "rules of the game" for disconnection, productivity and results are also to be defined. The secretary of the CGIL, Maurizio Landini, instead asks that smart working be regulated through national contracts to preserve workers' rights.

SCHOOL - Today the first bell rang in Bolzano. Once the repair exams have been archived, this will be the first real test on the resumption of school and on the obligation of the Green pass for teachers and school staff.

This week will also serve to fine-tune the new rules in the classroom such as the one, announced by Minister Bianchi a few days ago but still very controversial, of the possibility of lowering the masks in classes with all vaccinated students. This too will almost certainly be discussed in the control room, even if a school plan, agreed with the Regions, has already been drawn up and launched.

NEW COLORS - The new week could bring important news also for the colors of the regions. After a summer spent in total white, Sardinia and Calabria risk reaching Sicily in yellow. In that case, the obligation of outdoor masks and some restrictions for bars and restaurants, especially indoors, would return. Any decisions will still be made after the monitoring data on Friday and would take effect on the following Monday.
