This was reported to Kommersant FM by the chairman of the CEC Ella Pamfilova.

She described the situation in St. Petersburg as a mockery of voters, where two self-nominated candidates for the legislative assembly changed their first and last names, becoming the namesakes of Yabloko candidate Boris Vishnevsky.

“We have been trying for a long time to take different measures, the law is such that there are very few of them.

I think this is just a disgrace, an outrage.

This is already the extreme, lowest point of decline for those political strategists who serve customers, ”Pamfilova said.

Earlier, Anton Orlov, director of the Institute for the Study of Contemporary Politics, suggested adding photographs of candidates to the ballots.

In his address, the political scientist noted that unscrupulous political forces traditionally use so-called spoiler candidates in elections - citizens participating in elections solely for the purpose of pulling off the votes of some of the voters of real candidates.
