For several weeks, some elected officials believe that they discourage the return to work while employers have difficulty in recruiting.

Unemployment benefits expire on Monday.

This means that 7.5 million Americans will no longer receive the $ 300 a week they were receiving on top of their regular allowances.

The device was put in place by Donald Trump in March 2020 and extended by Joe Biden upon his arrival at the White House.

While some see the end of benefits as a way to relaunch the labor market, others believe that this will force the unemployed to pay less attention to the jobs and wages offered.

Some associations also believe that this could put families in financial difficulty, while the health crisis continues with the Delta variant.

Moreover, President Biden called on certain states to use aid funds provided by the federal state to replace these allowances and support Americans in greatest difficulty.
