“According to the investigation, in IK-14 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Khabarovsk Territory there was a fight between the persons serving sentences, as a result of which two people died, four more were injured, one of them was hospitalized in a medical institution,” the department noted.
A criminal case was initiated on the fact of the incident.
Earlier it was reported that in the Novosibirsk region in November 2020, an inspection was carried out due to the death of a convict in the penal colony.
