Building and developing 500 national companies providing Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies in the country by 2031

Within the "50 projects", the UAE government launched a series of integrated initiatives under the name of the "Fourth Industrial Revolution Network" program, which aims to raise the level of industrial productivity by 30%, and add about 25 billion dirhams to our national economy over the next ten years.

The program aims to promote the adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies in the UAE industrial sector, create an attractive business environment for local and international investors, develop 500 Emirati companies that provide Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies in the UAE, the region and the world, and establish an "Industry Pioneers Network", which brings together the largest 15 national and international companies. To support the transfer of knowledge and best practices in adopting advanced technology for the industrial sector.

The initiatives of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Network also include the Fourth Industrial Revolution Readiness Index, which aims to assess more than 200 industrial companies in the country before mid-2022, and the Industry 4.0 Leaders Program initiative, which aims to train more than 100 executives in the industrial sector.

Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of State for Advanced Technology, said: "We announce the launch of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Network, which aims to build and develop 500 national companies that provide the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the country by 2031, and to support the process of knowledge transfer and the adoption of advanced technology for the industrial sector in the country."

She added: "Through the network, we will implement the Fourth Industrial Revolution Readiness Index to enable 200 industrial companies in digital and technological transformation, after evaluating the level of efficiency of processes and technologies. To adopt the appropriate technologies for each company, and we will work with our partners to achieve this.”

We will also work through the network on the "Industry Leaders 4.0 Program", which aims to train more than 100 executives in the industrial sector, and to enable the industrial sector to include advanced technology in strategic and operational plans.

As for the "Industry Pioneers Network" initiative, which brings together 15 national and international companies, it will work to support emerging, small and medium-sized companies in adopting advanced technology by presenting the successful uses of fourth-generation technologies from the industry and best practices and transferring them to these companies.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution Network will provide programs and incentives for entrepreneurs to help them develop their businesses by adopting the applications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, focusing on vital sectors, and supporting the adoption of advanced technology.

Raising the level of industrial productivity by 30%, and adding 25 billion dirhams to the national GDP.

Training 100 executives in the industrial sector, and supporting the capabilities of digital transformation of institutions.
