A 20-year-old fatally stabbed in the Vendée

Saturday evening around 10:30 p.m., a 20-year-old young man was taken in by firefighters after a violent assault in La Roche-sur-Yon (Vendée), reports the newspaper

The victim, who suffered from "multiple wounds" committed with a stabbing weapon, was taken to hospital but did not survive his injuries.

Asked by the daily, the La Roche-sur-Yon prosecutor's office said it had opened an investigation, while “several elements remain to be defined in what seems to be heading more towards a murder than an assault.
