Larmtorget in Kalmar has been the starting point for this year's corona-adapted Kalmarsund Pride.

- It has been a good week.

It has been best to be at Larmtorget and talk to people and find out what are the wishes from LGBTQI people in Kalmar.

And we will work with that now, says Alexander Finstad, chairman of Kalmarsund Pride.

Kalmarsund Pride ends on Saturday, and the final will consist of a gala at Kalmar Theater.

The event is streamed live via Kalmarsund Pride's Facebook.

- It will be a rainbow gala that we call Loud and Queer.

We will hand out prizes and offer musical entertainment, says Alexander Finstad.

Parade next year

The most difficult part of the year this year has been that it has not been possible to carry out a Pride parade due to the restrictions.

You can instead charge for next year.

- If there is a parade next year, it will be a parade that will be fantastically glamorous and colorful!

says Alexander Finstad.
