According to a report by Afghan Dawn TV on September 4, local time, the conflict between the Afghan Taliban and the "National Resistance Front" in Panjshir Province has escalated.
"National Resistance Front" spokesperson Fahim Dashti said that thousands of Taliban personnel are currently trapped in the Paryan area.
He also said that the fierce conflict in the area is still going on, and one of the main passages in and out of Panjshir has been cut off.
The Afghan Taliban stated that they have controlled Shutur, Paryan, Hanh and Anabe in Panjshir Province.
