According to the Järna municipal board, there has been great interest in the new lots and this week almost all lots were already occupied.
- It is a beautiful place to stay.
We hope that the area can be developed into a meeting place in the future, says Hanna Klingborg (MP), chairman of Järna municipal council.
"Want to grow your own food"
A total of 45 new cultivation plots were inaugurated and during the week there were only two vacancies left.
According to the municipality, it has been 23 years since new lots were opened throughout Södertälje and in Järna there are many who want to grow.
- The interest in cultivation is great in the area and many here want the opportunity to grow their own food.
