New bus line in Dubai

The Roads and Transport Authority announces its intention to launch a new public bus line in the Emirate of Dubai on the ninth of this September, in a move aimed at strengthening the internal network of buses and integrating with other means of mass transportation in the emirate. It will also make modifications to three other lines on the same date.


The route of the new line No. (SM1) will be from the Gold Souq bus station, passing through Al Khaleej Street to Al Mirfa Market in the Deira Islands, with a turnaround time of every 60 minutes.


On the other hand, the route of bus line No. (14) near Al Safa stop will be modified to cover the Business Bay bus station on the sea side, and the route of line (F51) near the Dubai Investment Park metro station, and the route of line No. (F55) in Emaar South area to cover additional residential areas.


The Public Transport Agency of the Roads and Transport Authority will make improvements to 11 bus routes, namely: (5), (C28), (DPR1), (F12), (F27), (C28), (F46), (F51), (X64) ), (14), (88), (310), to match the flight times.


The authority affirmed its constant keenness to expand the public bus network and improve its integration with other means of mass transportation such as the metro, tram and marine transport, and that the development of connectivity between these various means will make them the best choice for transportation in the emirate.
