The Dubai Court of Appeal upheld a one-year prison sentence against a gang consisting of four defendants, who took a farm and a den to carry out theft crimes, robbed a bakery, and stole an iron safe containing 20,000 dirhams, taking advantage of the cover of darkness, and hiding their faces with a veil for not knowing.


Investigations by the Public Prosecution revealed that the four defendants, along with an unknown fifth, formed a criminal gang specialized in stealing shops and iron storage, and distributed roles among them. The second and third are robberies, while the fourth provides them with a farm to meet in, break storage and distribute the loot among them.


The investigations stated that the three accused went to a bakery in the Abu Hail area, after determining it in advance, and the first waited inside the car, while the other two went to the bakery, and one of them broke the door lock, and stole an iron safe containing 20 thousand dirhams, an account book, and other documents, and then They fled to a farm in the Emirate of Sharjah, where the fourth accused waited for them, broke the safe, and distributed the money among them.


Immediately after receiving the report, Dubai Police formed a specialized team that was able to identify the suspects and arrest them after they committed another crime, and they confessed in detail in the police inference report of their crimes, and even directed the investigators to the location of the bakery.


The first defendant admitted that he was in Al Quoz when the second and third defendants called him and told him that they intended to rob the bakery.


The second defendant confessed that he had arranged the tools they used to break the locks and the safe, in addition to shawls that they use as a veil, so that they would not be known.


But by asking the defendants by the prosecution about the charges against them, they retracted their confessions, denied committing the thefts, and did the same before the Criminal Court, which confirmed its confidence in the evidence of conviction and their first confessions in the police record, and sentenced them to imprisonment for a year and a fine of 20 thousand dirhams, so the defendants stabbed before Court of Appeal upheld the initial ruling.
