It is noted that "the use of blocking bypass services leads to the preservation of access to prohibited information and resources, creates conditions for illegal activities, including those related to the distribution of drugs, child pornography, extremism and suicidal tendencies."
Earlier, the Bank of Russia allowed the possible blocking of four VPN services by Roskomnadzor, which can be used to bypass restrictions on access to resources prohibited in the country.
The regulator turned to credit institutions with a request to clarify what services they use in their work so that the blocking does not affect it.
