Already last week, the school was made aware that students had begun to fall ill with covid-19.
Statistics began to be compiled on disease cases and at the same time a dialogue was held with infection control within the region.
Recommendation to close
- It was about individual cases in some classes, says Elma Avdic.
The dialogues and the compilation of the statistics led to the infection control recommending the school to close down the teaching for a number of classes.
- Then the decision was made by the politicians in the committee about the closure.
This applies to five classes in middle and high school, says Elma Avdic.
No distance learning
According to her, the students will be allowed to stay home until Wednesday next week.
- Since this is about a shutdown, we will not offer any form of teaching, says Elma Avdic.
The school will continue to have contact with infection control and follow developments.
- We have had good contact with guardians and infection control.
Guardians have shown understanding and it is just a matter of us wanting to slow down the spread of infection.
