There is nothing like the word "motherland" that makes a nation that has been suffering from hardship more enthusiasm.
In 1950, a group of people bid farewell to their relatives and went to the battlefield to fight for the motherland.
They missed their mother, they said, now they can’t think about it, after they beat the enemy away, they will go back to see their mother; the bullets are gone, they don’t back up, they throw their guns, and rush to the enemy with the flames on their bodies and hats.
For the sake of the motherland, the people, and peace, they put on war clothes and fixed the unregrettable youth with their figures charging and fighting, and wrote down the eternal memory of the nation.
"Why is the war banner beautiful and picturesque, and the blood of heroes stained her." A history of the war to resist US aggression and aid Korea is a history of heroes written by millions of soldiers of the volunteer army with their lives.
We grieve for the volunteer soldiers who died in a foreign country.
Charge bravely under the rain of guns and bullets, hold on to the position with indiscriminate bombing, use the chest to block the gunhole, use the body as a human ladder, pick up the explosive bag, hold the blasting tube and rush into the enemy group, endure the hunger and the cold, never shrink back, and burn the body. Staying still...From the Yalu River to the mountains of the "38th Line", from the Han River to the Qingchuan River, the land on both sides of the river is soaked with their loyalty and passion.
Every churning wave, every towering mountain, every inch of fertile land is engraved with the name of the volunteer hero.
We bowed in silence, and the heroic soul that had been buried for decades finally returned to the embrace of the motherland and the people.
Every time I think about the golden soup of the motherland, I remember the hero's iron armor.
No matter how far, no matter how long, we will watch the hero's return.
From 2014 to 2020, the remains of 716 Chinese People's Volunteers have returned to China for seven consecutive years.
On September 2, 2021, another 109 heroes returned.
