"Earlier than all, residents of the Far East began to receive payments," Izvestia reports, citing the press service of the department.

The Ministry of Labor clarified that all charges are made automatically.

It is noted that retirees receiving pensions in a bank account will receive the money before September 5.

Earlier, the first deputy chairman of the board of Sberbank, Alexander Vedyakhin, said that over 60% of social payments intended for pensioners from the state, today, on September 2, were credited to the accounts of the bank's clients.

On August 22, Russian leader Vladimir Putin offered to pay all pensioners of the country 10 thousand rubles each. He later signed a corresponding decree.
