Amid concerns about the spread of infection in schools entering the new semester, the Constitutional Democratic Party has requested the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology to strengthen infection control measures, such as promoting preferential vaccination of faculty and staff.

On the 2nd, three members of the Diet, including the Deputy Representative of the Constitutional Democratic Party's eldest wife, met with Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Hagita at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and handed over a request for strengthening infection control measures at school.

The request urges local governments to give priority to vaccinations for faculty and staff, and to distribute non-woven masks, which are said to be highly effective in preventing flying squirrels, to children in low-income households free of charge.

In addition to infection control measures, many single-parent households with low incomes have a difficult household budget in preparation for the new semester, so a special benefit of 50,000 yen per child should be urgently provided this month. It is said.

In response, Minister Hagiuda replied, "I will do everything I can think of to prevent infection without stopping learning."

Seiji Osaka, a member of the House of Representatives of the Constitutional Democratic Party, who made the offer, told reporters, "In some cases, mutant strains can make children more serious, so it is important to take measures first and foremost."
