The man, who is in his 40s and lives in a town in Ånge municipality, denies the crime.
But several girls testify that they have been subjected to sexual abuse of various kinds and now he is convicted of two cases of rape of children, one case of attempted rape of children and two cases of sexual harassment of children.
On several occasions after Christmas Eve last year and until April this year, he raped the girls, both through vaginal intercourse and by persuading them to perform oral acts on him.
He has also been guilty of sexual harassment when he exposed himself and masturbated in front of the girls.
The man has previously been convicted and is under two sections in the indictment register.
As recently as March, he was sentenced for sexual harassment on 13 occasions to probation and was to undergo the program activities that the probation service considered appropriate.
Before starting the program, he was arrested for further sexual offenses.
He is now sentenced to three and a half years in prison and will also pay a total of SEK 250,000 to the four girls.
