Hinseberg's women's institution is building something new - for both men and women

- The ambition is for it to be ready by the end of the year 2022, says Daniel Hultman, head of the prison service at Hinseberg.

Daniel Hultman also says that it is unusual for the prison to be built in connection with institutions, but that Hinseberg is a good place for that.

- Normally you have the prisons connected to larger cities, but since we have the space we have, it works well.

The detention center will hold approximately 44 places.

- It will be clients who, according to prosecutors, have restrictions on themselves during their detention stay that will be placed here, says Daniel Hultman.

More staff

In connection with the construction, the institution will also need to employ more staff.

- A lot of staff will be required, so we expect to need to employ about 100 people, says Hultman.
