A mother of three children appeared on Monday before the Avignon court (Vaucluse).

, she was suspected of having sexually assaulted one of her daughters.

The facts would have taken place between 2009 and 2014 and would have been revealed in February 2018 when the victim, who had been withdrawn from his parents in 2015, ended up confiding in his manager and then in investigators.

"Serious facts"

After initially denying the facts, the defendant ended up confessing and also mentioning erotic games with her children.

She would also have explained to have had "a sexual impulse when seeing her daughter undress".

Assaults which allegedly took place against a background of violence and alcohol.

Reporting "extremely serious facts", the prosecution had requested three years in prison, including 18 months closed.

The court finally sentenced the mother to five years' imprisonment, three of which were suspended, as well as an obligation to provide care and find work.

She will also have to pay 5,300 euros to her daughter.
