Eight years.

This is the time it took for solidarity pricing to be implemented in public transport in Bordeaux Métropole.

Since Wednesday, users can obtain reductions on their tram or bus season ticket according to their household income.

Discounts can range from 30 to 100%.

Indeed, public transport is now free for all households living below the poverty line.

For that, your quotient must be less than or equal to 550. The reductions then vary if it is between 611 and 942. It is possible to test your eligibility and apply online on the site of the metropolis.

The rights are granted for one year from the validation of the submitted file.

At the end (and only at the end) of this year, the rights will be reviewed on presentation of new supporting documents.
