Over 1000 county residents will be offered the third dose: "We will send out letters"

It is about 1000-1200 people in Västmanland who will be offered a third dose.

That is the opinion of Mikael Sars, who is the vaccine coordinator in the region. 

- We are now mapping which people it is, but we have a good idea of ​​which patients it is, he says. 

If everything goes according to plan, a letter will be sent out next week to the people affected. 

- We will send out letters stating that we assess that the person belongs to the group that will receive an extra dose and there will be a time for vaccination. The exception is people who go on hemodialysis, they will be vaccinated in the hemodialysis department, says vaccine coordinator Mikael Sars.
