Former Marine Corps commander Jeon Jin-goo decided to join former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol's presidential campaign.

Kim Byung-min, a spokesperson for the camp, said in a media call today (1st) that former commander Jeon Jin-koo and former deputy commander of the ROK-U.S. Combined Forces Command Choi Byung-hyeok decided to join the camp.

They are likely to be involved in policy advice in the defense sector.

The former president's camp has been receiving key figures from the current government in the fields of diplomacy, security, and national defense one after another.

The Moon Jae-in government has appointed Lee Do-hoon, former head of the Korean Peninsula Peace Negotiation Headquarters and South Korea's chief representative of the Six-Party Talks, as a policy advisor to the government.

On the 27th of last month, Kim Yong-woo and Lee Wang-geun, who served as the first Army and Air Force Chiefs of Staff of the Moon Jae-in government, were recruited to work in the 'Future Defense Innovation 4.0 Special Committee' within the camp.

Former Army General Kim Yong-woo, in particular, was a symbol of the Moon Jae-in government's military personnel who greatly respected Honam natives for the highest positions, giving a considerable 'shock' to the passport and military.

Former President Kim is compared to Gwangju Il High School and former National Security Office Director Kim Jang-soo, who is a senior in the sixth grade.

Former Chief of Staff Kim Jang-soo, after serving as the army chief and defense minister in the Roh Moo-hyun administration, chose the Grand National Party rather than the Democratic Party to become a proportional representative member of the National Assembly.
