The authority confirmed that the third dose of vaccination with the "Pfizer-Biontech" vaccine against Covid-19, is limited only to the specific groups referred to, It does not include all individuals and is in accordance with the recommendation of the specialized doctor, taking into account their health conditions and in order to enhance their immunity against the Corona virus.

The authority stated that it is not necessary for all those suffering from immune diseases to need an additional third dose, emphasizing the importance of reviewing the treating physician to determine the extent of the need to receive the third dose, or consulting the family doctor to obtain the necessary advice, and then the doctor will set the appointment and transfer the person Who needs additional vaccination to the appropriate center for him to take the third dose.

The authority stated that citizens and residents with residence permits issued by the Emirate of Dubai who receive treatment outside the emirate, they must obtain a medical report approved by their treating physician and obtain a consultation appointment to verify their eligibility for the third dose by contacting the family doctor in the primary health care centers affiliated with the authority or through A doctor's service for every citizen.

As for other people who do not have immune diseases, the Dubai Health Authority has confirmed that they do not need to receive a third dose of vaccination, according to what global studies have shown so far, and that any change in the protocols in this matter, the authority will announce it.
