A movie depicting the interaction between the crew of a Russian ship that sank off the coast of Shimane Prefecture and the people of Shimane Prefecture who rescued them during the Battle of Tsushima in the Russo-Japanese War more than 100 years ago was completed and previewed in Moscow. During the Battle of Tsushima in the Russo-Japanese War, the Russian Baltic Fleet ship "Iltish" sank off the coast of Shimane Prefecture, and locals rescued 235 Russian crew members over their enemies and allies.



Locally, it has been handed down as a heartwarming episode, but in order to let more people know, a documentary film was produced in cooperation with the Russian History Association and the Japanese Embassy, ​​and on the 31st, at the Japanese Embassy in Moscow. A preview was held.



The film was produced by the descendants of the crew of the "Iltish" and the descendants of the residents of Gotsu City, Shimane Prefecture, who rescued the Russians. It means that it was completed.
