When Germany goes to the polls on September 26, a number of flags are important to keep an eye on.

In Germany, each party has one color:

• The Social Democrats - red.

• The Green Party - green.

• Liberal Party - yellow.

• The Christian Democrats - black.

• Left patient - red or burgundy.

To illustrate the different possible governments, the flags that the different colors form are used.
