According to details published by Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper, 8-year-old Ziyad Ahmed Al-Behairy said after his release that he was opening his father's shop, and one of the kidnappers asked him: Do you have oil?

He answered yes, and they pulled him into the car, and then they parked the car for some time on the road, and moved him from one car to another, and he did not see the burning of the first car.

The kidnapped child of al-Gharbia explained, “I was terrified, and they fainted, and they threatened me with Tabanja, and they told me you don’t have any sense so that we wouldn’t kill you.

Ziyad explained that the kidnappers were three people, and they told him, "Your uncle Hamada did the wrong thing with us, and your father will pay the price. One of them, named Reda, would sit with me, and another one would come to lunch, lock the gates, and walk."

The liberated child added: "I was feeling terrified, and they threatened me either Baba would pay the money or they would kill me, and they told me if you tried to escape, you would get a bullet in your brain, and the police broke the door and entered, I caught the one who was staying with me."

The kidnapped child of Mahalla said: "I thank everyone who rescued me... I can't believe that I am still alive, I feel that I was in a dream, and when I saw the officers and soldiers entering me in the place where I was kidnapped and they saved me from death."

Ahmed al-Buhairi, the father of the kidnapped child of Mahalla, added that the kidnappers tried to make him believe that his son Ziyad was being held on the sea, and told him, “Your son is sitting on the sea, give him a swimsuit and come sit with us.” It turned out that this was a deception.

Ahmed El-Beheiry, a food trader, thanked everyone who contacted him to reassure him and pray for his son’s return from all over Egypt, and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Minister of Interior, and all the policemen who contributed to his son’s return.

The child's mother, Ziyad Al-Buhairi, said, with tears in her eyes, "Praise be to God, I feel that I am in terror, we do not sleep all the time, collapsed... Praise be to God."

The area in front of the kidnapped child’s home in al-Mahalla turned into celebrations from the people of the child’s return, and ululating ululates and drinks were distributed to celebrate Ziyad’s return. Tears streamed from the eyes of the kidnapped child’s family upon seeing him.

Sources told Al-Masry Al-Youm that about 30 officers of the Gharbia and Dakahlia security directorates participated in the process of releasing the child, Ziyad Al-Behairy, and the siege of the accused in the house, who caught them and puzzled the kidnapped child. , after tracking the accused through 47 surveillance cameras on the road along the itinerary of the accused during the kidnapping of the child.

The Public Prosecution Office in Gharbia Governorate began investigating the kidnapping of the Mahalla child, seizing the CCTV recordings and the fingerprints of the accused in the scene of the incident, and listening to all parties involved in the investigations it is conducting under the supervision of the Attorney General of the Gharbia Prosecutions.

The defendants confessed to committing the incident, and one of them decided that the reason for the kidnapping was his belief that the father of the child, who works as a food trader, owns a great fortune, which made him agree with the rest of the defendants to kidnap the child to demand a ransom from his father.
