In November last year, two construction workers were on the roof of a building in Bjuv that was to be repaired.

In connection with one of the construction workers breaking off a ceiling fan, he stood on a ceiling that gave way.

The person then fell five meters and landed on a concrete floor, which led to three fractures in the back and one in the pelvis.

The company is now fined SEK 300,000 for violating the Work Environment Act.

According to a criminal injunction, no risk assessment was made prior to the work and therefore the company is considered by negligence to have caused the injuries.
