According to reports, the E32 immersed pipe placed in this docking is the widest pipe section of the deep-medium channel.

  The E32 immersed pipe installed this time is the widest pipe section, with a length of 123.8 meters, and the cross section gradually widens from 53.5 meters to 55.46 meters, with a height of 10.6 meters.

  According to the person in charge of the Shenzhong Passage project, starting from September this year, immersed pipes will be installed on both sides of the project at the same time. It is expected that in 2023, the east and west artificial islands of the project will "hand in hand" across Lingdingyang through the immersed tube tunnel.

  At present, the deep and medium passage bridges, islands, and tunnels are underway. The double main towers of Lingdingyang Bridge and the west main tower of Zhongshan Bridge have been topped off, and preparations for the sinking and installation of the E12 pipe section of the submarine tunnel are also underway.
