The Emirates welcomes those coming by land from the Sultanate of Oman

The "Public Authority for the Security of Ports, Borders and Free Zones" and the "National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management" welcomed the arrivals from the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, in conjunction with the announcement of the protocol for arrivals from the Sultanate through land ports, which will be effective as of September 1, 2021.

According to the protocol, all arrivals from the Sultanate will be required to present a negative PCR laboratory test result valid for 48 hours, in addition to conducting a Rapid PCR nasal swab examination from the vehicle upon arrival at the port.

Arrivals must also undergo a PCR laboratory test on the fourth day of entry in the case of a stay of 4 consecutive days or more, in addition to a PCR examination on the eighth day of entry in the event of a stay of 8 consecutive days or more.

In a statement, the two authorities stressed the importance of the commitment of arrivals to apply all preventive and precautionary measures, such as wearing masks, maintaining physical distance and sterilizing luggage, and it is also advised to avoid travel for those with chronic diseases or those who feel symptoms of Covid-19.. They explained that arrivals will be guided to examination centers with commitment. Take all precautionary and preventive measures.
