The flight from Afghanistan began on August 12 when the United States began withdrawing its embassy staff from the country via Kabul Airport.
A lot has happened since then.
It was not until 27 August that Foreign Minister Ann Linde (S) was able to announce that no Swedish deployed personnel were left at Kabul Airport.
At the same time, the future is uncertain for anyone of local, or other, descent who is still stuck in the country.
