On the night of August 27 to 28, the cemetery of Redessan, a village in the Gard, was vandalized, say the gendarmerie.
Plates and crucifixes were broken.
In total, says
Midi Libre,
around twenty graves have been the target of malicious acts.
The gendarmerie, which has opened an investigation to try to find the culprits, invites the victims as well as any witnesses, to make themselves known quickly to the Marguerittes brigade, on 04 66 75 39 40.
This is not the first time that the Redessan cemetery has been the object of this type of vandalism: on August 15, already, graves had been damaged.
