At Sunderby Hospital, approximately 6.5 out of 13 operating rooms are now used, and this is mainly due to the lack of operating room nurses.
Staff have left or are working on other things, and the Norrbotten Region says that they do everything they can to recruit staff.
- We are happy to receive all conceivable staff who are competent and meet the criteria we set in the region.

Do not believe in increased compensation
Work situation, wages and remuneration have been pointed out several times as the reason for dismissals.
Recruiting staff by raising remuneration is not something Backgård believes in.
- Then you would in that case offer more money and hire people for high compensation, that is what it is but refers to recruitment, then you are more or less back in a rental situation.
