On Thursday, French students will return to classrooms and playgrounds for a second start, placed under the sign of the coronavirus.

But this time around, the principals have a weapon: vaccination.

And they intend to use it.

Report in a college in the 14th arrondissement of Paris.

REPORTING

At the Saint Exupéry college, it is already possible to meet some students, who have come to follow activities before the start of the school year on Thursday.

"This year I don't feel it," slips 12-year-old Nassim.

He enters fourth, with a little anxiety about a new year on coronavirus.

"I want to be vaccinated, my parents agree, but only when there is vaccination in the college", explains the pre-adolescent.

Health questionnaire and parental authorization

Precisely, this college in the 14th arrondissement of Paris is banking on vaccination to keep the coronavirus epidemic outside its walls.

Upstairs, the main Colette Chiche, is preparing to send parental permissions to families for the injection of the anti-Covid vaccine.

"We already have our vaccination center, next to the establishment. I am preparing documents for families including the explanatory leaflet, the authorization for vaccination," she explains.

In particular, the principal prepared a "health questionnaire" to "find out if the pupil has a positive PCR test during the last 3 months, if he has had a vaccine in the last few weeks, if he has a history of 'allergies'. The objective: "better prepare for this vaccination". In the playground, the students who took lessons this summer are leaving behind two large colorful frescoes of the Little Prince. Enough to brighten up the start of the school year!
