Fatima Mohamed's wish is for increased cooperation between parents in the Järva area and the police.

- Our responsibility as parents is to cooperate with the police and other actors who want to reverse the trend.

We want to work together, because we have a common goal.

She does not criticize the job of the police, rather the opposite.

She believes that the police do a relatively good job.

- The police do a great job compared to many other authorities, but the police can not solve the problem alone.

They have to work with us.

Nor can we solve the problem ourselves.

We need each other.

Want closer contact with politicians

She describes how she does not dare to let her daughters play alone outdoors and how it spreads to, for example, one of the daughters, who has now begun to be afraid of being outdoors herself.

Fatima is afraid that her daughters will end up in the firing line for gang violence.

She has seen far too many killed.

- I have stopped going to funerals.

However, we usually gather and mourn together before or after the funeral.

I know many mothers who have lost a child.

Increased political influence can be a way to go when it comes to schools, for example, a factor that many believe can be decisive for which path a young person takes in life.

- Many of us who live in Järva do not have a strong influence when making big decisions at government level.

- I want us to get closer to each other in society.

Järva is also located in Sweden, it is part of Stockholm, says Fatima.
