UAE wins membership of the Board of Directors of "Universal Postal"

The UAE won membership in the Board of Directors of the Universal Postal Union and membership in the Council of Postal Operations for the next session 2022-2025, during its participation in the 27th edition of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) conference, hosted by Abidjan in Ivory Coast.

The election of the UAE to these two positions came as a result of its unremitting efforts to strengthen the postal sector at the local and global levels, and based on its active contributions to the activities of the Universal Postal Union, and its projects aimed at improving postal and financial services, in addition to its pioneering role in establishing postal policies and developing strategies for international postal work, and benefiting from them.
