The Pentagon announced the elimination of two IS leaders in Afghanistan

Major General William Taylor said this at a briefing at the Pentagon.

“I can confirm as new information comes in that two high-ranking IS targets were killed and one was wounded.

We are aware of the absence of civilian casualties, ”he said.

Earlier it was reported that the US military in Afghanistan attacked one of the IS militants.

According to a spokesman for the US Central Command, the strike was carried out using a drone in the province of Nangarhar.
