The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The Emir of Qatar also met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, on the sidelines of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership.

The meeting took place at the Iraqi Prime Minister's headquarters, during which they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing and strengthening them in various fields, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common interest.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said - via Twitter - that Prince Tamim is a "brother and friend" and that the Qatari people belong to him by kinship and intermarriage, and that "the Gulf destiny is one, it was and will remain so."

The Emir of Qatar met - the day before yesterday, Thursday - Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the National Security Advisor in the UAE, and his accompanying delegation.

On the other hand, the Emir of the State of Qatar met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Baghdad, during which they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing and strengthening them in various fields, in addition to discussing the most prominent regional and international developments.
