See the odd sport that is growing in Sweden

For most people, the sport of flag football is completely unknown.

You can easily say that it is like American football without tackles, instead you have bands around your waist that you jerk to stop the game.

The sport is quite small in Sweden with only 13 associations and 200 active practitioners.

- The sport is growing all the time in Sweden, so we are on the rise, says Simon Olsson, chairman of Nässjö Saints.

It's a pretty odd sport.

- Yes, American football is a fairly small sport in Sweden and we are a smaller variant of it, but as I said, we are on the rise, he says.

How big can the sport be?

- It is difficult to say but there are 13 associations in the country and in a few years we will be at least double, says Simon Olsson.
