“I cannot support such a proposal - to divide physicists and lyricists, humanists and technicians, leave the USE to one, and leave the others the opportunity to communicate with teachers,” he said at a session within the framework of the Russian Creative Week.

Falkov said that he considered it wrong to abolish the USE system for some applicants, but the minister recalled that universities themselves have the right to introduce additional tests for applicants to certain areas.

“The existing system is not without flaws, probably like any other.

But it can be improved and today it allows a huge number of school graduates to calmly build their trajectory and continue to study, ”he added.

Falkov stressed that the system of examinations "can and should be improved, including the introduction of additional entrance tests."

Earlier, Rosobrnadzor announced its intention to gradually make changes to the USE model for all academic subjects in the period from 2022 to 2024.
