[Explanation] On August 27, a truck loaded with anti-epidemic materials departed from Houqiao Port in Tengchong City, Yunnan Province, China to Myanmar.

These anti-epidemic materials were donated by China to Kachin State, Myanmar, with a total value of RMB 1.555 million.

  [Explanation] Recently, the situation of Myanmar's epidemic prevention and control has been severe, and the lives and health of the Myanmar people have been seriously threatened.

As the Pauk Pak brothers who are watching and helping each other, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides aid for epidemic prevention materials to the Kachin State and Shan State of Myanmar, which are adjacent to China, through the channel of the meeting mechanism of the China-Myanmar Border Management and Cooperation Agreement.

  Our batch of materials is more than 1.5 million yuan in total, including masks, protective clothing, portable oxygen generators, disinfection and so on.

  [Explanation] It is understood that the above-mentioned materials were handed over by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Yunnan Province as entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, and Daang, the Consul General of Myanmar in Kunming, accepted the material donations.

The anti-epidemic materials have brought hope to Myanmar's fight against the epidemic, and provided great support for Myanmar's fight against the epidemic both materially and spiritually. It embodies the traditional friendship between China and Myanmar and makes the concept of a community of shared future between China and Myanmar more deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

In order to actively help Myanmar overcome the epidemic at an early date, China's aid to Shan State will also be sent from the land border crossing in Ruili City in the near future.
