British Defense Ministry confirms completion of evacuation of citizens from Afghanistan

"The last flight with British troops took off from Kabul," - said in a message published by the press service of the Ministry of Defense in its Twitter account.

The UK Department of Defense said 11,474 people had been evacuated from Afghanistan since August 13.

Earlier, British Ambassador Laurie Bristow commented on the completion of the operation of the British forces to evacuate from Kabul.
