Turkey exported passenger cars, worth $5.5 billion, from January to July of this year.

The data of the Uludag Automobile Exporters Association showed that Turkey exported passenger cars to more than 100 countries, territories and free trade zones during the mentioned period.

The value of foreign sales rose to 5 billion and 514 million and 97 thousand dollars during the mentioned period, an increase of 8%, compared to the same period last year.

  • France ranked first in importing Turkish cars, with a value of 983 million and 608 thousand dollars

  • Italy is followed by 540 million and 95 thousand dollars.

  • Germany third with 510 million and 869 thousand dollars.

A few days ago, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, "The stages related to the local car are going according to plan, in 2023 we will see our car on the roads."

Vice-President Fuad Oktay said that his country's goal is to reach the threshold of 210 billion dollars in the export sector by the end of this year.
