According to the indictment, the two men possessed and handled two semi-automatic pistols, one of the Sig Saur brand and one of the Husqvarna brand, with associated ammunition.

The crime occurred this summer.

They stored the weapons and ammunition in an unlocked space in a stairwell in the Skäggetorp district in Linköping.

The prosecutor takes the incident particularly seriously because it concerns semi-automatic firearms and the fact that the weapons were easily accessible in a space where the public had access, which meant that children, for example, could have obtained the weapons.

The weapons were stored in a sandbox in bags and found by a private individual.

Both accused men deny the crime.

The other weapon found was a so-called "Pistol M / 40" by Husqvarna.

The model was used by the Armed Forces until the 1980s.
