Eight SCO member states including China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, India, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan participated in the exercise, with a total force of about 4,000.

Among them, more than 550 Chinese troops participated in the exercise and 130 vehicles (equipment) were dispatched.

  The Chinese joint campaign command organization and participating troops are dispatched by the PLA Northern Theater and the troops under its jurisdiction. The participating troops are composed of the capable forces of the 80th Army Group in the Northern Theater and the support and support forces such as information support, medical and health care, and transportation and delivery.

  It is reported that the Chinese troops participating in the exercise will adopt multiple delivery methods such as railway and air, and separate multiple echelons for long-distance cross-border delivery. All of them are expected to arrive at the exercise area on September 10.
